CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — Taste of Harrison County and a car show could be found in Jackson Square on Saturday, with vintage cars as well as food vendors from the Clarksburg area.

Families were encouraged to attend and see the cars, have fun in a play area and try out different local foods.

Michael Spatafore, President of the Clarksburg History Museum, spoke to 12 News about the impact events like these can have on a local community.

“I think it's really important to have events like this because it brings out people and they can meet their neighbors," Spatafore said. "It's a family fun event."

He also encouraged people to explore Clarksburg and visit historical sites.
