CORE, W.Va. (WBOY) — The Mason-Dixon Line Festival returned to the Mason-Dixon Historical Park in Monongalia County on Saturday morning serving breakfast with a side of history.
From homemade buckwheat cakes prepared by the local Red Hat Society chapter to local crafts and historical demonstrations, the event celebrates Appalachian tradition while bringing the community together.
There were several arts and crafts vendors as well as food available from Mama's Home Cooking.
12 News spoke with Mason-Dixon Historical Park Superintendent, Angela Hinerman, who says this festival is all about celebrating community, along with Appalachian history and heritage.
