St. Thomas football hit the road for the fourth time this season, and this time it was to Davidson, North Carolina. The Tommies cruised to an easy 57-13 victory, their first Pioneer League win of the year.
It wasn't until the 3:06 mark in the opening quarter that St. Thomas QB Andy Peters found Patrick Bowen for the first score of the game. The Tommies proceeded to add 43 unanswered points before Davidson got on the board.
Peters finished 10 of 13 for 190 yards and one touchdown before St. Thomas gave backup QBs, Amari Powell and Ryan Jackson, some playing time. Both players added a passing touchdown to the box score.
