BISMARCK — Minnesota State Moorhead receiver Brady Perryman continued his big-play penchant Saturday at the MDU Resources Community Bowl.
Perryman had 106 receiving yards, including a 42-yard touchdown catch, to help lift the Dragons to a 38-35 victory against the University of Mary in NSIC football.
MSUM (5-2, 4-2 NSIC) has won two consecutive games. Dragons senior quarterback Jack Strand also had a big game, completing 24 of 42 passes for 253 yards and one touchdown. Strand also rushed for 82 yards, including a 50-yard TD run.
Dragons senior Gage Florence moved closer to the NCAA Division II record for career receptions. He had eight catches for 74 yards against the Marauders. Florence has 361 receptions, which is 25 shy of the D-II standard of 386.
