LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - After nearing 80 degrees on Saturday, we could be much closer to 90 degrees Sunday afternoon.

Starting off with those highs, we could see low 70s to upper 80s. Peak gusts could be at 40+ mph providing a key boost to those temperatures.

However, as a cold front moves in Sunday, we will see cooler air Monday. We will likely fall in the upper 50s to upper 60s.

Meanwhile, some isolated showers/storms cannot be ruled out in Lincoln overnight into Sunday morning. Better chances arrive Sunday afternoon/evening as that front moves through.

We could quiet down on Monday, with upper-level disturbances and an eventual storm system providing daily rain chances for the rest of the week. Another warmup in the 70s is likely Wednesday onward.
