LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Literacy is hosting their Global Celebration at Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel on Thursday, Nov. 13, to celebrate student achievements, volunteer tutor dedication and a record number of students served. The event will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

In 2024, Lincoln Literacy’s strong growth continued as the organization served over 2,000 adult learners from 87 different countries. As of August 2025, they have already surpassed 2,000 learners. This milestone was made possible by generous donors and the dedicated team of over 200 volunteer tutors.

Lincoln Literacy now offers over 100 classes, seven days a week, teaching in 13 businesses and other community locations, like schools and churches where the students live.
