BRAINERD — The Bemidji High School girls swimming and diving team got a preview of what sections will look like at the Section 8AA True Team meet in Brainerd on Saturday.

The Lumberjacks took eighth place with a team score of 697. Brainerd won the meet with a score of 1,361.

Anna Friedt, Finley Zothman, Kiera Strodtman and Abby Daman took fifth place in the 200-yard medley relay at 1:57.91. Zothman also took second place in the 100 freestyle (54.43). Friedt took eighth in the 100-yard backstroke (1:09.16), while Daman took fourth place in the 50 free (25.96).

Elle Wille finished in fifth in the 200 free with a time of 2:05.95, then took third in the 500 free at 5:42.27. Kiera Strodtman finished in third place in the 200-yard medley relay at 2:23.25. Quinn Friedt took 10th in the 100-yar
