UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — After Penn State suffered its third consecutive loss of the year, the news worsened when coach James Franklin announced quarterback Drew Allar would miss the remainder of the year with an injury after he went down in the fourth quarter of the Northwestern game.
“Drew will be done for the year,” Franklin said before pausing and turning his head. “The reason I turned and looked is I do not release that information until I clear it with the kid in the family. I talked to Drew, but I had not heard back from the family before I came here.”
