GAYLORD — The Michigan State Police Gaylord Post is teaming up with the State Trooper Outreach Partnership for its annual Boots for Kids fundraiser.

The fundraiser begins Thursday, October 16th.

Troopers will be serving pizza at B.C. Pizza in Gaylord from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

All proceeds will go toward buying winter clothing for children in Otsego County.

The event is hosted by the S.T.O.P. Gaylord Chapter and supported by B.C. Pizza, which is donating the day’s sales.

Troopers said the fundraiser not only helps keep local kids warm during the winter months but also builds stronger connections between law enforcement and the community.
