WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Luzerne County employees up to bat against the city of Wilkes-Barre employees in the second annual "Babe Ruth Sultan of Swat Home Run Derby."

It's the first year the city is taking on the county in the big game.

Folks got to enjoy a three-inning softball game, celebrating the longest recorded home run in baseball history when Babe Ruth visited Artillery Park in October of 1926.

Mayor George Brown, Mayor of the City of Wilkes-Barre, said, "Romilda and I are good friends, OK and, and we try to help each other out as much as we can, city helping county, and vice versa, as you've seen over the past couple of years. So we keep that one part of it going and everybody knows that it's not just county against city, it's the county working with the city and vice versa."
