LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — One person was taken to the hospital on Saturday evening after a shooting in the area of Kearney Ridge Boulevard.

According to the Lexington Fire Department (LFD), crews responded around 7:45 p.m. on Oct. 11 to reports of the shooting and found someone who had been shot at the intersection of Georgetown Road and Spurr Road.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in serious condition, but authorities said they were stable.

An investigation into the shooting remains ongoing, and FOX 56 News has reached out to the Lexington Police Department for more details.
