BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - The Richard Kemp Center hosted its fourth annual block party Saturday.

The center is aimed at youth development, wellness and racial equity.

The block party had a bunch of activities for kids to do like basketball, roller skating and face painting.

Community members also heard from guest speakers -- and enjoyed live music.

Mentors at the center say events like this allow kids to meet more faces in the area, and encourage conversation about shared experiences.
