TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —The American Red Cross was out in Twin Falls on Saturday morning installing free smoke alarms and training homeowners about fire safety.
Around 40 volunteers arrived at 9 am for early training before being dispatched. Volunteers were divided into teams at the Skylane mobile park, going door to door to offer smoke alarms. Even the Twin Falls fire department joined in to help.
Initiatives like these are important as smoke alarms are one of the first lines of defense to save lives.
