Tor Bridge High has been awarded a national charter mark for its mental health support initiatives.
The Plymouth school received the Bronze Mental Health Charter Mark for its dedication to emotional wellbeing across the school community, recognising the efforts of staff, students, and the wider Ted Wragg Trust.
To secure the award, the school completed a detailed audit focused on three key challenges affecting students: anxiety-related attendance issues, relationship confidence, and classroom support.
In response, the school introduced a new Attendance Hub offering emotional coaching and daily contact for families. It also launched ‘check-in zones’ staffed by trauma-informed adults.
