Drivers on South Douglas Highway have probably noticed the construction work going on at Madison Street on the east side of the road this week.

Monday, crews began working to remove and replace water line fittings. The project is scheduled to be complete Oct. 20.

Access to Madison Street businesses will be detoured down EZ Street and Country Club Road, respectively.
