Dry and warm pattern continues to closeout the weekend

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - This morning’s temperatures were the coolest we have felt since May. More cool mornings and warm afternoons are ahead.

SUNDAY: Patchy fog clears giving way to a mostly sunny finish to the weekend. After a cool start, sunshine will send temperatures to the middle 70s for the afternoon.

MONDAY : Rinse and repeat. We start the morning off with temperatures in the low 50s and then quickly warm into the middle 70s in the afternoon hours. Mostly sunny!

REST OF THE WEEK : A gradual warming trend will push temperatures close to 80 by the middle of the week. A passing cold front will bring temperatures back to the middle 70s to end the week. Rain chances remain slim for now, but a system could bring some moisture back to the region next weekend.
