IOWA, USA — A report by American Cancer Society shows that cases of lobular breast cancer, or invasive lobular carcinoma, are increasing in the United States .

33,600 women will be diagnosed with lobular breast cancer it this year, the report estimates, and cases are rising more sharply than all other types of breast cancer.

There are several risk factors for breast cancer, but in Iowa, one remains particularly prevalent: Alcohol consumption. The state ranks fourth in the country in the incidences of alcohol-related cancers, according to the University of Iowa's College of Public Health .
