GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man was treated and released from a local hospital after a shooting late Saturday night on the 600 block South Elm Street, Greensboro police said.
A preliminary investigation indicates the shooting stemmed from an altercation and does not appear to be related to an aggravated assault that occurred earlier in the area, according to police.
No suspect information is available at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
