CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Cambria County man died Saturday morning after falling from a ladder while working on a roof in Summerhill Township, according to Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees.
Lees said 54-year-old Robert Maticic was installing a snow guard on a garage roof along Friends Avenue around 10:46 a.m. when he fell about 15 to 20 feet onto a driveway.
Family members found Maticic unresponsive and called for help. He was transported to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 11:53 a.m.
Lees said the cause of death was blunt-force head injuries from the fall and ruled it an accidental death.
