'"Nothing could have been done" to save two children who were found dead at a house in Staffordshire on Sunday morning, West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed. ‌

A 43-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the tragedy at a property on Corporation Street. Staffordshire Police were alerted at around 7.30am after emergency services reported the children’s deaths. ‌

The children have been named a two-year-old Meraj Ul Zahra and three-year-old Abdul Momin Alfaateh ‌

Two ambulances and two paramedics were dispatched to the house at around 7.25am. A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: “On arrival of ambulance staff we discovered two patients, both children. Sadly, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save them and t
