Chillicothe — One of two big local used book sales is happening next week. The American Association of University Women is holding their 61st annual event Tuesday through Saturday.

Complimenting the spring book sale by the public library, the fall AAUW event will be October 14-18 in the site of a former drug store, recently Petland, in Central Center.

Tuesday is “First Choice Night” from 4:00 to 8:00 with a $5 entrance fee. Regular prices will be 10am to 8pm Wednesday through Friday. Then from 9am to noon on the last day, Saturday, it will be $1 for each grocery bag of books.
