WYOMING, MI – A man and woman were arrested on Sunday, Oct. 12, in connection with an armed carjacking, Wyoming police said.

The incident unfolded around 11 a.m. in the 2700 block of 44th Street SW. Officers were dispatched to the area for a report of an armed carjacking that just happened.

Police learned that at least one person – allegedly armed – forcibly took the victim’s vehicle and fled the area.

Officers located the stolen vehicle in the 5100 block of 28th Street SE.

The suspects – a man and a woman – were lodged at the Kent County Jail on carjacking charges.

The incident remains under investigation.
