GREECE, N.Y. (WROC) — A Greece man has been arrested after a rifle was reportedly fired inside an apartment early Sunday morning.

The Greece Police Department responded to a residence on White Swan Drive at 3:56 a.m. for a report of a domestic incident involving a firearm. According to officers, they were told upon arrival that a man was in the midst of a dispute with family members within the shared apartment when he allegedly discharged a rifle. The individuals inside the residence were able to exit safely by the time officers arrived.

A perimeter was established in the area as officers began to search for the suspect. During the investigation, a defaced .22 caliber rifle was found, reportedly matching the description of the firearm in the incident.
