DULUTH – Following reports of a man lunging at individuals with a knife, Duluth Police Department squads were dispatched to PetSmart, 1732 Mall Drive, on Sunday.
After the initial call came in at 12:21 p.m., officers arrived and learned the suspect had left, according to an emailed statement from Deputy Chief Ryan Morris.
Subsequent reports led the officers to the area of Stebner Park in Hermantown where a perimeter was set up.
Hermantown Community Church, 4880 Maple Grove Road, posted the following statement on Facebook: “Thank you so much for all of your concern regarding the reports that police were at our church today. They were not on property long and left as quickly as they came onto the property. Their presence was not the result of anything happening to our church or in our chu
