BRAINTREE, Mass. —

Police are investigating after a delivery driver was robbed by three people armed with handguns in the Skyline Drive apartment complex in Braintree on Friday night, according to police.

The Braintree Police Department responded to the complex around 10 p.m. on Friday after the delivery driver called 911 to report the robbery. The victim reported that he was robbed by three males with handguns who ultimately fled in the victim's vehicle.

Responding officers quickly located the victim's vehicle abandoned near the Skyline Apartments management office at the rear of the complex, a short distance away from where it was taken. The vehicle was still running with the passenger's side door open and items discarded on the ground.
