SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Great Bear Ski Valley and Falls Area Singletrack have been working together to develop 10 miles of multi-use trails, designed for mountain biking, hiking, and trail running.
Phase One is designed to build the first four miles of trails, and it is now complete.
The project includes fresh singletrack integrated within existing trails.
This will help transform Great Bear into a year-round outdoor recreation destination in the city, one that FAST hopes will get plenty of use.
“We’ve had a lot of great feedback, with people being excited about riding the trails and experiencing the trails. They love the varying terrain and varying bike-riding styles of trail that we have out here. So overall, positive feedback.” FAST communications director Reva Graves
