SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - A downtown mural that the community helped create during Riverfest is now complete in the tunnel of the Cherapa Place parking ramp.

Local artist Joe Schaeffer helped lead the project after Downtown Sioux Falls was awarded a $15,000 grant from the Gilchrist Foundation.

It’s an abstract mural that people could draw symbols on, and even add their names to, all meant to be inspired by the Big Sioux River and the movement of the river.
