MOXEE, Wash. – A 54-year-old Yakima man was transported to the hospital for injuries suffered in a crash involving a semi truck.
The crash occurred October 12 on State Route 24, three miles east of Moxee.
The driver of the semi with trailer made an improper U-turn, causing the crash with a smaller compact car, according to a release by the Washington State Patrol (WSP).
The driver of the semi was not hurt. The driver of the smaller car was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The nature of his injuries is unknown.
WSP said no charges have been filed, and drugs or alcohol were not involved in the crash.
