HUBBARD, Ohio (WKBN) - Hubbard standout pitcher Hayleigh Taylor announced she has committed to continue her academic and athletic careers at Ashland University.
The senior announced her decision on social media Sunday afternoon.
Last season, Taylor posted a batting average of .514 and drove in 44 runs. She also belted nine home runs in the 2024-2025 season.
Taylor aided Hubbard in the circle as a pitcher with six wins and 55 strikeouts last season.
Ashland is a Division II program in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The Eagles recorded a record of 23-23 last season with a 13-11 conference record.
Hubbard starts the softball season against Struthers in March 2026.
