LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A Lincoln bar with a unique business model spends two of their days a week allowing people 21 and under to come in and play with dogs.
Off Leash Dog Bar located on M Street allows only adults with their dogs from Wednesday to Saturday. However, Tuesdays and Sundays the bar welcomes kids accompanied with a parent to come and play with the dogs.
Gavin Valle has worked for the bar since they opened and said customers can learn a lot from a visit.
“You don’t want to go up to a dog that’s not feeling comfortable cause that’s when the accident happens and they nip at you,” Valle said. That’s one of the better things is that they get to learn in a safe environment because their are people that are here to go in faster than you would."
Visitors do not need to bring a dog
