BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) responded to a deadly crash on Highway 612 in George County at approximately 9:00 p.m. Saturday.

According to a spokesperson for MHP, A 2019 Toyota 4-Runner was traveling west on Highway 612 when it collided with 26-year-old Tyler Hunt of Wiggins, MS, who was walking west on the same highway.

According to the spokesperson, Hunt received fatal injuries from the crash and died at the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
