BROOKINGS, S.D. (SDSU) — South Dakota State used a dominant second-half performance to overcome an early deficit and defeat Omaha, 3-1, in Summit League action Sunday at Fishback Soccer Park.

The Jackrabbits (9-2-4, 3-1-1 Summit) battled against a strong wind in the opening half and trailed 1-0 at halftime. Omaha's Presley Douglas opened the scoring in the 18th minute, finishing a pass from Kendall Dobberstein. Despite being outshot 11-6 in the first half, SDSU regrouped and came out firing after the break.

Midfielder Jenna Maloy sparked the comeback in the 65th minute by netting her fifth goal of the season off an assist from Lauren Eckerle.
