SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A Shreveport district is getting a revival, complimentary of the arts community.
On October 12, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., an art-focused event, Far End Fusion, kicked off in an area that was once abandoned.
Artists are coming together to help revive an area in Shreveport that was once thriving in the 50s.
Some, like 11-year-old Alana Thomas are even kicking off their art career at the event.
“I’ve been doing art since I was three years old. This is my second time selling my art. It feels good because the world gets to see my art,” says Thomas.
