A renowned film director has revealed how Edinburgh icon Sean Connery left him shaking in his boots on set.
Peter Hyams, 82, described the terrifying Bond star as someone who had a temper that "could go through plaster." He worked with Connery during the filming of Outland in 1981 and later Presido in 1988.
Hyams is well known for directing End of Days with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Timecop, with Jean-Claude Van Damme and his breakthrough film, Capricorn One, in 1977. But he revealed the capital born star had him terrified as he did not 'suffer fools gladly or otherwise,' the Daily Record revealed.
Connery, who died in 2020, aged 90, was known for his tough approach to unprofessionalism on movie sets.
