Man turns pothole into giant bowl of beans on toast View Image
A giant pothole was turned into a massive bowl of beans on toast to highlight the problem. Campaigner Ben Thornbury tucked into the traditional English meal to slam the increasingly traditional English problem. He used two slices of toast and 30 tins of baked beans, then added cheese on top.
“I guess you could say this has bean a success,” said Ben. “Thank God I get discount from the shop as I would have able to feed my whole family with that amount of beans.”
Ben carried out the stunt in Michael Pyms Road, in his home town of Malmesbury, near Swindon, Wilts. He has set up a Government petition demanding the Government do more to fill them in.
