The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office, with the help of local, state and federal agencies, arrested 10 men for soliciting children for sexual acts online.
Operation Catawba Net was an operation held at the end of September where investigators chatted with men online, leading to the arrests.
“This three-day operation led to 10 arrests and dozens of felony charges — a clear message that anyone targeting our children will be brought to justice,” the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post. “Together, we are making Catawba County safer, one arrest at a time.”
