Trinity Christian Academy, a Christian school, is set to open its doors next fall at the site of the old Mount Mourne School in Mooresville.
Headmaster Rick Calloway has a vision for what the school can be.
This won't be Calloway's first foray into Christian schooling. He has 28 years of experience at one school. He previously worked for Metrolina Christian Academy on Indian Trail Road in Charlotte, a school with more than 1,100 students.
Calloway said that the new school aims to hold to its Christian values while offering a top-notch education for all students.
"Foundationally, to build a great Christian school, you've got to have the right approach," Calloway said. "Our approach is simple. Number one, we want to make sure that we promote the love of Christ in all that we do, whether
