FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A road closure is coming to Fort Wayne’s northwest side Monday.

Fort Wayne City Utilities says Sherman Boulevard between West State Boulevard and Spring Street will be closed beginning at 8 a.m.

According to the department, crews will be completing a repair on a water main.

Northbound traffic is asked to detour using Spring Street, Wells Street, and West State Boulevard.

Southbound traffic is asked to detour using West State Boulevard, Wells Street, and Spring Street.

Residents in the area will have access to their homes.

The repair is expected to last through late afternoon.
