LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - On Saturday, a group of armed thieves pushed a car out of a driveway, while one of them pointed a gun at the door of the home they stole it from. Louisville Metro Police Department posted images from surveillance video showing the four suspects to ask for the public’s help in their investigation.
LMPD says this case is just one among multiple incidents of armed car thefts in Southwest Jefferson County. It’s now prompting a reaction from Metro Council.
“My PSA, I guess you would say, to the constituents is do not engage, do not approach,” Third District councilman Khalil Batshon said. “These folks are armed and dangerous, and we want to make sure that you’re safe, first and foremost.”
