WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Detectives in the District have launched a homicide investigation after a man was found shot in Southeast Sunday night.
Details remain limited; however, the deadly shooting took place in the 3800 block of 9th Street around 10 p.m. on Oct. 12, detailed the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
Once on the scene, D.C. officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Medics tried to save him, but he died at the scene. The victim's name has not been released as of Monday morning.
