MANASSAS, Va. — A truck driver died after he crashed his truck into a guardrail on Prince William Parkway and Hansen Farm Road in Manassas early Sunday morning. That is not far from the Sheetz on Hansen Farm Road.

The driver was identified as 35-year-old Jatinder Chauhan from Turlock, California.

The Prince William County Police Department responded to the crash around 4:45 a.m. to investigate. They found that Chauhan, who was driving a 2022 Mack Anthem truck was heading east before he swerved off the road, onto the right shoulder and bounced off the guardrail before landing a short distance away from the impact.

Chauhan was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Investigators say that the driver may have suffered a medical emergency before he crashed.
