NORTH BRANFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A massive house fire early Monday morning is under investigation in North Branford, according to fire officials.
Fire officials said they were dispatched around 1:18 a.m. for an "explosion" and structure fire in the area of Beech Street.
Crews at the scene said they saw a single-story home fully engulfed.
Because the home was in an area without hydrants, tankers were requested from Madison and Guilford, fire officials said.
The fire was under control just before 2 a.m., according to fire officials.
No injuries were reported, fire officials said.
