A driver was left trapped following a collision between a car and a van on a main road heading of out Nuneaton . Paramedics, firefighters and police responded to 999 calls made on Lutterworth Road near Bramcote earlier this morning (October 13.
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service (WFRS) said its firefighters found the van on the grass verge and its driver had managed to get out. But the car was on the road and its driver was trapped.
They worked to free the car driver, who West Midlands Ambulance Service said was seriously injured. A WMAS spokesperson confirmed he was given advanced trauma care at the scene before being taken to the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.
