After enjoying highs in the 80s on Sunday, temperatures are expected to plummet into the low to mid-60s today, according to the National Weather Service in Hastings. The dramatic change comes as a cold front that moved through the area Sunday continues to influence local weather patterns.

Scattered Showers Throughout the Day

Light showers moved across northern portions of the forecast area early Monday morning, with more scattered precipitation expected to develop across the region this afternoon. The best chances for rain are forecast for this evening through Tuesday morning.
