A teenager was shot in Hartford on Sunday night.
The 17-year-old was found suffering from a gunshot wound after officers responded to the 300 block of Enfield Street at 9:47 p.m. when they received a ShotSpotter alert, according to Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police Department .
The teen was taken by ambulance to an area hospital, Boisvert said. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded to the scene and assumed the investigation, which remains active and ongoing.
