SEBRING, Ohio (WKBN) - A man is being held in the Mahoning County Jail on an attempted murder charge in connection with a shooting at a Sebring bar.

According to the Sebring Police Department, Jose Cintron is a suspect in a shooting at the Oregon Pub on Sunday.

Just after midnight, officers were sent to the bar on E. Oregon Avenue, where they found a woman with a gunshot wound on her shoulder.

Police said Cintron had been involved in an altercation with another man and had pulled out a pistol, firing a round. The shot missed the other man and hit the woman instead, according to a post on the police department's Facebook page.

Cintron then left the area but was booked into the jail on Sunday.
