President Donald Trump 's speech to the Knesset, Israel's unicameral legislature, was briefly interrupted by far-left politician Ofer Cassif , who was immediately escorted out of the chamber, on Monday (October 13), the New York Post reports.
Cassif, who has represented Hadash in the Knesset since April 2019, began shouting while Trump praised his special envoy, Steve Witkoff , for bringing "peace in the Middle East," though it wasn't immediately clear what he was yelling. The chamber reportedly cheered as Cassif was expelled.
