ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Sunday marked the last day of the 55th annual Atlanta Pride — and it went out with a burst of color.

The Atlanta Pride Parade swept through the city as thousands lined the streets for the parade.

This year’s festivities were complete with marches, musical and drag performances, and merchandise and food vendors to celebrate Atlanta’s and the South’s LGBTQ+ community.

The parade stepped off from the Civic Center MARTA station, marched up Peachtree Street, before it went onto 10th Street and ended near Piedmont Park.
