WASHINGTON — Indigenous People's Day is the official holiday where Indigenous American peoples culture and histories are celebrated. Here's what services are still in operation but with modifications for the holidays.

Transportation and parking

The metro will run on a holiday schedule starting at 5 a.m. and close at midnight. The metro will operate on Saturday frequencies at all stations that are not experiencing track work. The buses will operate on a Saturday supplemental schedule .

Metrorail

Blue Line: Trains every 12 minutes, then every 15 minutes after 9:30 p.m.

Silver Line: Trains every 12 minutes, then every 15 minutes after 9:30 p.m.

Orange Line: Trains every 12 minutes, then every 15 minutes after 9:30 p.m.

Yellow Line: Trains every 8 minutes all day.
