JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KFVS) - The execution of a man convicted of killing a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper will go forward as scheduled this week.
Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe announced on Monday morning, October 13, that clemency will not be granted to Lance Shockley.
Shockley was convicted of first-degree murder in the 2005 death of MSHP Sgt. Carl Dewayne Graham Jr. in Carter County.
Petitioners asked Gov. Kehoe last week to pardon Shockley.
